As the secretary-general secretary of Jilin Esperanto Association, I went to
Baotou city, in Internal Mongolia, to take part in the 4th congress of Esperanto in North China, in 22nd to 26th , July. The local comrades made great efforts for this meeting, and specially invited a dancing delegate from Poland. In spite of others I gave a Tai Chi lecture, taught the polish girls and local students. It was a fun.
The
congress had a day trip to a manmade oasis in desert, where lived lovely ostriches with water and trees all around. When you was aware to that all green landscape was manmade, you surely had great praise to that. There were Japanese, many of them, came there for tree and grass planting. Some of them even lived there for the planting and buried in the land they cultivated after their dead. With the lily-white and kindly heart they were good for the benison of today' people.
